In the weeks leading up to winter vacation, I have come to expect a certain level of unpredictability at work. You just never know how kids will react to the stress of the holidays, the change in routine, and (of course) the anticipation of Santa's visit.
Sadly, for some, the magic of the holidays is lost. For for those kiddos, its my job help them embrace those simple joys that make the holidays so special. Enter: lunch-time cookie party. There are few things better than seeing kids being kids, leaving cookie crumbs and frosting smears in their wake.
