Today was a ridiculous day made better by seeing this fellow on my ride home. This is a barred owl, I believe (if any bird-lovers out there know otherwise, let me know!).
Thanks! A few years ago, we saw one in the woods (from a distance). I've certainly never been so close to one in the wild -- this guy let me come within 10ft!!
